Our blog is dedicated to seasonal living: cooking with local produce (sometimes our own), sewing for the home and searching out vintage bargains.

We believe that most of the pleasure is in the journey - in the making and creating, even if in a simple way.

Foxgloves

These are now past their best. Spot the white one? Funnily enough, Brian was on a train journey the other day and saw a lot of white foxgloves along the side of the rail track.

  4. They are so pretty! They do not grow naturally in the area I live.....although I have seen them for sale in the nurseries. They look so lovely growing as they do in your photo.

  6. Well, they don't grow at my place, but I like the white ones. My aunt had them last year in the garden. She's lucky to live in such a warm country.
